Maybe I’m just bitter because “technically” I don’t know “exactly when” to use these fingerquotes… but come on, it’s not like we cup our hands next to our ears when we use a parentheses… so why do we use these stupid “quotation marks” with our fingers? It’s so annoying… someone teach me now!

I couldn’t get through life if my ability to make finger quotes was taken away. Some things are just that important. 

@real_jj, i stopped using air quotes around the time i started to add “i’m just sayin” to anything where i wanted to say something but didn’t want to explicitly say it. i don’t know how the two events are related lol

lol, I like to use my finger quotes to mock people….like that “basketball game” was “really good,” in that, of course, that thing you called a basketball game—that was freakin’ terrible.
